I recently had their Logos integrated and it sounds as good as it looks!

I think this is beautiful kit. Their tube preamps and amps are well regarded. Don’t know if their DACs are worth the price of admission, but they are gorgeous to my eyes…

I want to try to forget I ever saw it. It is hideous. It may sound excellent, but it looks like a middle school science project. Too many standout design elements that don’t blend together at all.
It reminds me of my first water cooled Hindenburg. And we all know how that story ended.

It was 30 plus years ago when Krell tried to get into the digital world. This was their first attempt I believe. Neither their transport nor DAC sounded that great as I remember. But there was nothing look like it back then, and it was a party pleaser.
I sold both the transport and DAC at a very good price, and bought a Wadia 20/25 set (I think). They sounded so much better.

Ugly gear happens I suppose. I am not unwilling to listen to any piece of gear. But own is another thang. My intention is not to make fun of you, rather just call a spade a spade.

I like the Krell transport. Sort of space age and that Lexan/Lucite top is awesome. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
