What is the device with address 192.168.178.1? Is NAS configured to have two IP addresses 192.168.178.1 and 192.168.178.41?

@alekz
In the networkconfiguration Center there are 3 different position. I had to chance them because I`ve got troubles with double ip adress.
This are my current possible NAS approaches:
General:
- Servername : Musicserver
- Standard Gateway :192.168.178.60
- DNS Server: 192.168.178.60
Networkinterface
1.Internet
- Fix IP Adress: 192.168.178.60
- Subnet: /24
2. WLAN
- ip adress:10.1.14.1
- subnet: /24
- DHCP Server (Start): 10.1.14.1 (End): 10.1.14.5
Since now it is not possible to configure the same IP Network for “Internet” and WLAN
I have no more idee - sould I contact the support ???
Anyway thanks a lot

Alekz said: In which mode the NAS is set up? WiFi Access Point or WiFi router? I think it should be WiFi AP.
On what device is DHCP server configured?
chris said: In the Network controll Panel its called Hotspot
@alekz
What if he just sets everything to dhcp and reboots the whole system.
Could he not then just check the nas and adjust it as needed?
Alekz said: This is a bit confusing... What other modes are available? I'll try to have a look in the documentation later today, but it' difficult do understand how it works without the actual device.

Alekz said: OK, it should be the "Wireless hotspot" as I said earlier. The key word here is "bridged". But the "Wireless router" is highligted, so I take that the NAS is configured in this mode. Looking at the configuration it is indeed setup as a router.
Yeah! This is more like it!
Now I have to stop this experiment. My DAC Bridge seems to be definitely lost.
I try everything written in some threats to rebuild it but with no success.
Now I have to wait for my Dealer who is planning to come to Switzerland in about two weeks to change the Bridge.
Ohhh… so close …
Speaking of the rescue procedure. When you are trying to boot the Bridge from a USB stick, are you sure that it actually accesses it? Do you have a USB stick with a flashing LED? The thing is, not all USB sticks are recognized by the Bridge. For example, some pre-partitioned sticks do not work. It must be one single partition.
If the LED flashes only once or twice, that means that the Bridge fails to mount or read the file system. The LED must continuously blink for some time.
Yes, so close …
Its a 2 GB SanDisk Micro Cruiser - FAT formatted. It is flashing once and than it glows constantly. I try it 5 times, from 1 hour up to 1 Day, I removed all cords from the PW DAC for one day, I uncased the Bridge for about 30 minutes, made a few cold reboots … - … nothing.
A modicum of hope is this ominous “net-fix” program. But where can I find it ?

I have attached both Rescue and NetworkFix files just in case.
Attached files /FileUpload/74/33867cb87fac5d1d703909d340fd3f.zip (813 B)Â /FileUpload/3a/a31058fc59b026b04bcddc0bdb0d40.zip (12 MB)Â
Hey Alekz
Whow, the netfix made it in about 20 seconds !!! Thanks a lot!
In the evening I will go on with my new Network
Chris
Gooood!
@chris, so, is everything working now?
No, the ipad found the hotspot but no connection possible. Bridge dont find network.
I don`t understand the configuration of the NAS - I am a little bit confused.
What default Gateway and what LAN Ip Adress could be the right one ? And what about the DNS Server.
Thanks !!

Do you have the Internet router in the same network (192.168.178.0/24)? If yes, then your network should be “flat”.
For example, you have the following devices:
192.168.178.1 - Internet router, the default gateway and possibly the DNS server
192.168.178.60 - NAS
192.168.178.40 - Bridge
Network mask on all devices is 255.255.255.0 (or /24)
The DHCP server (to provide dynamic addresses for mobile devices) can be configured on either the Internet router or the NAS (but not on both to avoid any confusion). For example, in my network, the DHCP server is configured on the Internet router (not on the access point).
