I just posted this in the Innuos forum, but as its Christmas, it may take a while for an answer, so asking here
“have just downloaded a music file from PS Audio’s Octave records, it downloaded fine, but when I copied and pasted it into the Innuos import folder as usual, the file looked wrong, it was marked as a DSF file and would NOT play. I downloaded 1 of there files a while ago, and it will not play either… Whats wrong? It played in the Audirvana app tho”
I do not know anything about Innuos but I have experience with DSF files. DSF = Direct Stream Digital Stream File. A native DSD file format developed by Sony for storing individual tracks of DSD audio. I have successfully used DSF files in Roon, on a USB stick in my 2018 Volvo, and on my higher end portable Digital Music Player. It is not a natively supported format for windows (requires a player like Foobar2000). I suppose that your model of Innuos does not support DSF files playback to your particular DAC.
Wonder if this thread might help you: https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/innous-zenith-mk3-and-the-ps-audio-directstream-mk2
Cheers,

Just two things immediately come to mind:
(1) Check your INNuos DSD settings
(2) Ensure you have unzipped your DSD/DSF files prior to loading onto your INNuos.
