I only look forward to Emirates Business Class. The service, seats and lounge in the back are awesome.
I wonder how many folks remember when a 747 was the new thing and it had a lounge on the top. That was pretty cool for the day. However Singapore Air was the best.
Agreed. Have not flow Asian airlines in a while but Singapore Air was (and probably still is) top notch.
I typically fly plebeian class. We usually give her a shove and then hop on!
Did you know that many "vegan’ products are considered to be “processed foods”? [aka -not healthy]
Having spent 17years in that end of the food realm, I definitely wouldn’t eat some of the products sold in stores today.
The best way to approach it is how traditional cultures made do.
Tofu, Tempeh, Seitan, fermented foods, preserved foods, etc. Google “Sandor Katz”. The man is a wealth of knowledge. Also, “Renee Loux”. Very interesting, grounded and knowledgeable folks. A fun rabbit hole to dive down in, and the recipes are quite tasty!
We pretty much shop around the edge of the grocery store. We hardly ever venture down the aisles with some exceptions of course. It’s mostly in the aisles where the seriously processed food lies.
A couple years ago I decided to not put anything in my shopping cart that has a label. It’s not entirely doable but it does force me to shop more thoughtfully.
The method you describe of sticking to the perimeter of the store is one I’ve read in a number of books on healthy food shopping. Two other rules of thumb are don’t buy anything with more than five ingredients and don’t buy anything that has something in it that your grandmother wouldn’t recognize.
Or can’t pronounce.
I knew there was another one! Thank you, sir.
Team work!
It’s a great experience. Enjoy.
