Staff shortages and businesses needing help have become so drastic that long haired freaky people may now apply.

To make it even more real, they should be wearing masks.
Very clever!
10mm…?
![]()
Certainly the most commonly used wrench and socket size in my garage.
And often misplaced, “stolen” or otherwise out of reach…hence a clever association to add to the homage, no…?
Looks closer to 25mm or 1" to me.
Agreed. But I like the 10mm mental image.
I said socket, not sprocket.
Unfortunate Silent Generation and Boomer humor.
Next Generation Powerplant?
AirGap, AirLens…what’s next?
do you have a '67 Checker?
I was just thinking about asking the same thing!
Roomy and built to survive!
Looong gone. My mom got it in '67 cause us 3 teens were tall - I was shortest at 6 ft, younger brother 6 ft 7 in, youngest brother 6 ft 4 in. Old man gave it to me when I left for active duty with the Air Force in 1975. Pulled up to the base (Keesler AFB, MS) with only orders - no ID or uniforms. I was rather amazed when the guards snapped to attention and waved me in ahead of other traffic. Turns out the admiral who ran the Navy base down the road in Gulfport had one just like it! Later one sky cop didn’t fall for it and stopped me. " '67 ain’t it?" - he had a '67 wagon he used for hunting. Alas, seduced by power steering, power windows, A/C and automatic transmission I traded it for one of the last new regular gas Plymouth V8 Valiants.
Great story. My father’s closest friend bought one new; silver with a black top. If I remember right, it had a 283 onto which he installed a 4 bbl and duals. What a pisser of a car.
Sadly, in the fatal crash, the only thing in that Checker that was energy absorbing was him.
