Not humorous in the least…

Au Contraire.

uh oh…

Jg55,
Ironically, I agree with the apparent facts and logic in your satire, in both posts….but find the subjects too serious to be funny…Loving the many posts here that are fun & in the spirit of sharing a good laugh……perhaps a healthier laugh??

Cheers, John

Well Well, 16 hours. Our slip is showing.

You may think that but I could not possibly comment.

“our slip is showing” as in Freudian slip?

Which ideology is embraced

For all those EV fans out there. Cause we all know, this will solve all our problems…

I remember when comic books were 12 cents. a 10 cent comic must be going back a ways.

I remember when my father thought i was nuts for spending $0.30/gallon on Sunoco 260.

I remember gas prices going down to 23 cents/ gallon during a gas war. Man, I’m old.

My first real job was at the only 24 hour gas station in East Baltimore in the mid 70’s. Full service of course. Wasn’t unusual at all to pump $1.10, $0.62 worth of gas. And they got the windshield cleaned and oil checked.

When I started college in 1967, I’d fill the tank of my 1962 Beetle for $3.
But with the cost of money today, that would be $25.
Of course, our current delightful reality brings that 10 gallons to around $43. in my neighborhood.
Wait—this isn’t funny.
