Paul, yesterday I was getting emails for every new post even though I had not subscribed to any threads or topics. I got the last one at 9:54 am EDT today so it seems to have been fixed for me at that point, although I also couldn’t get properly logged in for most of the day.

I’ve gotten a couple hundred. I have not gotten any for the last few hours I believe.

Ted mentioned on another forum that he was getting deluged with emails. Strange that it picks on some of us and then others, but apparently not all at the same time (unless some reports are not current).

Ok, let’s keep an eye on it. We reset a lot of parameters in the system, cleaned up a database and hopefully we can just have this work now.105_gif

I had been getting what seemed like every post, but this morning I seem to only get mail from things I’ve actually posted in.

I do not need an internet forum for checking this.

Every morning I just rise my upper body from bed the moment I wake up and ask myself ‘Who am I? Do I have a meaningful job and do I love my family?’

I reckon this is just some kind of bodily protection mechanism to prevent you from waking up screaming…

Thanks guys. Looks like our reset worked. And so far it appears most of us are the same as we were this morning when we woke up. Keep your fingers crossed. I as kind of liking the new identity I got but …

I started to receive this emails on Saturday and I’m not subscribed to anything. Is there any way to stop this?

This emails continue to flood my inbox, is there any way to stop this? Please HELP

I experienced this originally, even after having made certain I had no active subscriptions or notifications. The reset Paul mentions above stopped the problem.

In the interim, I created a filter for my email where all of the automated posts from this forum were sent directly to trash. While not a solution to the problem, this minimizes the impact.

@oll I have contacted the programmers of the forum to see if there's a setting or something I can do. Hang in there and please keep us informed.

Hang in there, oll. I did sign up and am getting the e-mails, however, I can’t manage subscriptions because the system is showing 0 subscribed and 0 watched (noted under Problem with Managing Subscriptions)

Ditto....And I have 15 new ones just in the last 3 hrs !!!
