It’s here AGAIN! Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary remastered again

Update. Lenexa, KS is where my copy currently resides.

So what’s the verdict?

I wish I could tell you. Fed Ex smart post just arrived today and I’m at work. Sorry no verdict from me. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday for sure! Stay tuned.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day…

No worries, you can’t hurry this. Don’t rush the dark side, let it come to you :sunglasses:

Looking forward to hearing your review. I have this one (that so many others have, if they have the SACD). I’m more inclined to invest in a high quality Animals, but who knows?

All reports I have read and heard say the SACD stereo tracks are the same as those on the 2003 SACD.

I can confirm the stereo tracks are the same.

I also heard that the Redbook layer is the 2011 James Guthrie remastering which is a very good mastering.

@McRican is correct! I compared the 2003 and the new Analogue Productions release and they sound identical. This is for the 2 channel I did not listen to the 5.1 version. Analogue Productions package is better! Lol

Ripped. It sounds fantastic.

Yet another DSOM. 50th anniversary remaster. How many times can this be remastered?

As many times as we are willing to buy it.
