I just ordered M700s. Reading the manual, it’s not clear if the trigger turns the amp completely off, or puts it in standby. It would be great if I could set my P5 to “always on”, but then use the P5 trigger to take M700s in/out of standby?
I have 2 M700’s triggered by the SGCD, it puts them into standby, just like touching the front button. I use it when I want to quickly turn everything off (like moving the stand)
Great — Thanks. I will be using the M700s as part of a home theater system. That system can generate some rather nasty pops if I do things the wrong way. The 100watt tube amps the M700s are replacing were not a concern, but…
