Magnepan uses Old Dominion Freight Line for shipping their speakers strapped to a pallet.
Do it, just remember they need a lot of amp. My BHK 300’s have never run so warm!!
I see alot that many many Maggie owners run McIntosh amps. I’ve never owned McIntosh .

Years ago I owned a pair of 20.1 with McIntosh 500 watt mono amps. I loved it.
I know we’re talking about the big Maggies here, but what are your professional Maggie owners thoughts on the new LRS speakers?
Maggie 3.7i will be on their way next week with Mye stands in a super tank like box.

I have a brand spankin’ new pair of REL S5/SHO’s. Love them.

Depends on room size, obviously. I moved from REL S328’s to the S5’s and the difference is quite stunning. Speed and super clear low frequencies. Been listening to a lot of Victor Wooten lately and i just can’t get enough. Never heard anything like it before.
My room is 15x34 feet. Based on the formula on REL website, the pair of S5’s were recommeded with my 3.6R’s.
I had pondered the 212’s and glad i didn’t as the s5’s are plenty.
Don’t count out JL Audio F113v2’s
JL Audio Fathom subs are the tightest quickest sub I have heard.

Maggies are in! There MIGHT be a channel imbalance 
but I’ll give it a while to confirm.
Other than that. Wow, yes there is a big difference. It takes the 1.7i and amps it up! More bass, better sound stage. Wow!!!
