My Matrix will hopefully ship this week as well. I see the status on the USA distributor website has changed from “out of stock” to “pre order”, which is encouraging!
On the DS Sr., what we see is “DSD” instead of “DOP.”
Are you referring to a different thread besides this one?
On the DSJ, without the Matrix, I see “DSD” even if it’s “DOP”.
I replied to a new thread started about the Matrix, which has since been consolidated into this thread, thus my phrasing is a bit out of context. But no, I was referring to this long Matrix thread in that post…

Ah, perhaps the DSJ display does not distinguish between DOP and Native DSD.
I don’t know why…but I find this sexy!!

It does not but it can handle both, though if memory serves correctly (and that’s always a crapshoot with me) I believe it one;y accepts DSD through the I2S inputs.

I heard today that the Matrix will begin shipping this week…

To my understanding, the USA distributor is having them shipped via fedex directly from China to the customer.
