I have a Melco N1A and would like to connect it directly to my Stella Gain Cell (I current connect to two via a Simaudio Moon Mind 180) via USB. However, when I connect the two I get no sound via USB I get no sound. With my previous DAC (a Bryston BDA1), I could connect via USB, directly (but the quality wasn’t great), or via a Halide Bridge (much better quality sound - though for me the Moon Mind 180 sound edged it). Should I be able to connect the Melco directly to the Gain Cell via USB? And if so is the a combination of settings at both ends that I need to get it to work?
