Five or six decade ago I watch a movie late at night it was a very good movie
It was about building And racing muscle car/hot rod like old T ford modify
I have search this movie from decades ago and could not find it?
The only thing I remember it’s at one point they need to stole the sheriff car motor to win an unfair race.
and to avoid the sheriff to catch them they put the other police car transmission Backward So when he hit the gas and go reverse.
Of course there’s a love story in it for the girls
after giving back the motor to the sheriff and repair his car and justice was made
movie ends with the guy drove away in his car with his rotten original Motor? With the girl of course. he need to push it to start the motor going downhill

For strange reason that I could not explain I have still this movie in my head one or twice a year? That night I was working arrive late at home and only watch the last 1/3 of the movie

btw, not sure, if Convoy could be added here? my uncle were wood trucker, so ice bridge and 1 lane road were truck barely encounter on the same road. Icy hill were sometimes we barely make it! All uncle when we want to talk and be part of the travel, we talk about Convoy or we play John Cash!
