The SP adio probably still sounds REALLY good and you do not have any USB / LPS cable concerns ETC as all that is internalized.
I am particularly cross with both Apple and Amazon at present as Tidal only cancelled my $10 a month family hi-fi service after Apple and Amazon jacked their music streaming prices.
I only us my iPad when others ar streaming music through Roon on my system. I just launch roon and had it to them for song selection. Meanwhile album art is cycling through Roon on mini which is acting like a Roon Endpoin on stereo feeding the large Home Theater screen. Or I can swipe it over to Bacch4Mac screen. My one Gripe is the Bacch4Mac is just a contol window that can’t be placed into full screen. I guess I could ask Edgar for them to upgrade but he gets an attitude when you suggest how to improve his toolbox or app. To him anything he sells is already the best and has ten reasons not to improve it and refuses to listen to any counterpoint. I guess the mark of a genius is genuine attitude and smugness. .
