Monolights [DiY] Speakers,
to relieve my boredom, I make speakers in my lost time that I call Monolights.
They are 75lbs Weight Per Speaker.
The woofer is an Eminence, the same replacement speaker as a Klipsch.
The Tweeters is an Acoustic research, this model was developed in the 60s.
In addition, it has a crossover for the tweeter. It is adjustable at the back to adjust the desired musical “presence” in your listening room.
It is an old-fashioned sealed enclosure, built in 3/4 inch MDF, dimension in inches: 15" wide x 13" deep x 25 high.
The grids are made inverted, you can change the pattern as needed for a customized image to your taste.
Not has sophisticated, has the Aspen, but it’s fun to do and also a fun way to recycle what i found!
Here the Crossover was recycle!
I put this here, in case I want to make a second pair, so I will have dimension. but won’t work with crossover again, will work with capacitor to filter frequency on the next one, or go full range!
