Will do, eventually. I don’t have high expectations but who knows I might be surprised.

No. But I can suspect. I’ve never had a cable change in break in as much as this would need to do to displace my AC-12 HDMI. I highly recommend that cable if one can find one. It’s the best I’ve had for video and for i2S use. I don’t see myself ever spending enough for the WireWorld or Revelation cables.
Hate to say it but I own that Apollo cord too and it is sitting on a shelf. Didn’t find it bright at all but muddy and veiled. Maybe their quality is unconsistent or…
Good thing is it was cheap.

That’s interesting. . . I definitely heard brightness. I just connected the Apollo between my NuWave Phono Converter and my DSD and it sounds more tolerable at the moment there. . . though as always I prefer to use the balanced analog out of the Converter into my preamp than the digital out into the DSD, the analog sounds better regardless of cables. But I’ll leave the Apollo in for a while and hopefully get some hours on it this way as it gets signal either way. (I listen to lps less and less!)
I´m giving it another go now…my cable is on pretty low hours too,maybe twenty or so.
After taking my current hdmi out I feel like Apollo loses detail,top end extension and naturalness,but there is some "musicality " to it. From Matrix to DSD. I let it play for some time now hoping it gets better.
Cable needs some time on it before it settles down.
It’s the silver plating, takes ages to bed in.
