I don’t think you ever did but you may of purchased before the FMC (Fiber Media Converter) was available. The 10 pro sounds like what the NA Tempus is doing inside the box as far as isolation goes.

Whoa, not quite Tempus money but getting into Melco territory. I’ve been hesitant to pull the trigger on Tempus/Muon given I’m spending a lot more time on analog lately, but I do want to upgrade my SW-6 and move it to another system so this could be ideal.

That SW10pro looks very nice. I’m glad it’s a modified AS8pro. I was afraid it might just be a modified SW10.

Definitely flirting with Tempus money. Alvin is a great guy and makes quality gear but this price is about $1000 more than I anticipated. One box solution that cost more than the 3 boxes it replaces.

$160 will be added to any order to US (says shipping and tax but shipping supposedly free to US). The good news is there is no State Tax charged.

Singapore dollar is a bit higher than US dollar. My calculation is around $2.2k USD, and I am willing to bet it could be a giant killer.

It almost makes too much sense for my case. D333 replacing two boxes (M1200), and SW-10pro replacing two boxes (SW-10 and SW-6).
Advantage:
- Every gear can be moved into the main rack, and no more mini rack behind
- Every gear can be plugged into PowerZone, and no more Puritan PSM156
- I will have an extra AQ Dragon Source to sell, unless it makes an improvement serving Orbi Sat.
- One less grounding box, and cleaner look behind the rack.
- The sell of all the extras will be higher than the cost of SW-10pro
Disadvantage:
All new gears show up within a short period of time, and I will have a harder time to determine the SQ contribution from each gear. But I am used to that already.
Like I said, it almost makes too much sense.
