He was so mischievous - you know for sure he wasnât supposed to show that Iâm glad he did!
I thought it looked different, but was not sure. It sure does look like a current 300/250 body with a different faceplate. No branding. The button is in same place and heat sinks look identical. Top may not be as âglassyâ as it is now.
ooooooooooo, look gigantic
If the new amp is that big, and, presumably heavy, count me out. Iâm almost as old as Paul, and I wonât buy anything that weighs more than 30 pounds.
New toy for the big boys!
Well, he didnât talk about it, lol
just watched, I see now. its pretty obvious. lol
Itâs height makes you wonder if itâs a SS amp with class D technology. I think it âshouldâ be, if itâs good for the next decade and initiated by Darren Myers, but then why so high and with heat sinks? Maybe a traditional LPS and big caps too?
Those are beefy heat sinks for class D.
Maybe if we all push the theory that the amp is Class D, someone will have to chime in and tell us how many watts it stays in Class A before going to AB, lol.
I hear you. I toted about and packed up my P15. Wholy Moley that thing is heavy!!
Will we see a $100,000 MSRP product from the PGM line?
Paulâs just really tiny. lol
Ha! Video trickery. So the PMG amp is out of the bag, at least itâs chassis. Looks nicely complimented to the rest of the line. I thought I heard somewhere that it was an A/B design and that would follow with the big heat sinks.
In any case, I know that it will probably have lots of power and reserve. The Aspens need a good, clean push, and Paul and Chris like to party (listen loud).
I read that here somewhere also.
That is just the power supply. The amp is taller.
Looks like some sort of fancy squeezebox.
