With a different swoosh!
Hopefully its gets tested (thoroughly) before release. Including being connected to REL subs.
Hopefully they fill the inside with all that amplifier goodness like power supplies and etc….. otherwise I guarantee dead silent black background.
I want to see the bottom plate.
Pot stirrer.

Yes, we really need to get to the bottom of what this new amp is all about!
My guess is the amp will be heavy enough that few will care enough to flip it over for a look at the bottom plate.
That sounds like a dare.
You’re on…
I would like to see an all silver version like the MSB S202. Would match all the PMG series.
Found this amp stand in Audiogon, and the new PMG big amp will look good on it. Wait, you need two. ![]()
Wait, it may not be big enough either.
The shelf part looks to be their standard shelf for amps which is 18” x 18”. I have two of these but with a lesser base part (now retired). I am using solid steel stands under the BHK 600s which I think are about 20” x 20”, still not large enough for the PMG 800s.
The BHKs are 17” x 14” and from the minimal info I’ve seen the 800s would be about 28” x 14” , +/- 2” on the depth. I don’t recall seeing any stands that large on the market. It may be time to look into custom.
My back hurts just thinking about lifting them, and I mean the stands.
There are also the M600s which weigh less than the 800s and should fit on the stands for the BHKs. I’ll probably try whichever is available first.
I’m currently on here taking a rest after hauling a couple BHK 300 Monos up stairs to my new spot. On the bright side, I’d say those new PMG amps would have a built in anti-theft device. In fact, I just showed my wife a picture and she asked what it was. I told her, “that is what a hernia looks like.” Just joking, I think it looks good and I bet it sounds even better.
Sounds like a dare. Address please ![]()
