(Includes Mark E Smith - whose band I generally found to be awful, but whose attitude was always a breath of fresh air)

awesome broadcaster and tastemaker - John Peel discovered many artists and was responsible for several breakthroughs - his late night FM Stereo show on BBC Radio 1 was required listening during my college years

I liked The Fall back in the day (Black Monk Theme), but this interview has me rethinking that a bit.

The Fall is so easily my favorite band. It’s an affliction, but I enjoy it.
Mark looked so weird in that video. Those mouth gestures, sheesh.
Peel was responsible for introducing me to most of the music I love.
