With all the hype/anticipation (and drool) for this final release, this version will probably be the most highly scrutinized and debated of all - will it be hamburger or a fine cut of sirloin in the end? To complicate matters there may not be agreement on which menu item is better (and if you’re vegetarian or vegan it’s not an analogy you would be happy with anyway). Hopefully we all end up with a fitting coda to a great product.
It’s just after 5PM, what time does PS Audio close for the day?
I’m sure the new update will be an evolutionary step forward, otherwise why bother releasing it.
@Johno - I am pretty certain that PSA and most other vendors don’t want to drop a code release and go home for the night leaving customers hanging if there are issues.

@vkennedy61 Thanks, I would not have thought of that, - having worked myself for 30+ years as a network engineer then service delivery manager and project manager. I would have updated my customer, especially having left my customers with an expectation.

Quite a bit of the hype and rumor are being created by the customer base.
99% of the hype and expectation is us as users.
Paul wrote of a “tentative” release date, if the stars align - not a hard, scheduled release date.
