What’s your opinion about fiber cables vs ethernet cables in the chain? Are they really effective in noise reduction (or elimination indeed)? It means in an ethernet normal path (from wall to system) could be so important to put a “bridge” before the streamer/switch with fiber cable to let any noise disappear?
Melco S100 switch is provided with a SPF slot and I’m wondering if the new Octave streamer will be able to directly connect to it, is it provided with the same slot too? Or a converter (another little box and another LPS) will be needed between Melco switch and Octave?
