One Man’s Quest to Build the Best Stereo System in the World

I don’t know if this has been posted before, but if not it’s something I’m sure everyone on this forum will want to watch.

There is a much longer documentary about Ken posted here.

Excellent. Thanks for the link.

That is a really cool story. I just lost a friend to ALS and it is a truly horrible disease. Glad he is getting some time with his lifelong passion before the disease makes it not possible.

Sorry for your loss Vern. Former Bear Steve McMicheal has ALS and it’s a brutal disease.

My friend ended up living on Mountain Dew and morphine the last couple of weeks of his life as he was no longer able to eat.
He finally just gave up mentally and was gone in a few hours once that decision was made.
It was a sad day for us but he was in so much misery that it was good for him to personally be able to make the decision to end it.

My wife’s grandmother died of ALS. It is a dreadful disease. Her mind was a sharp as a tack, but she was trapped in her own lifeless body for a few years. Unfortunately, I did not know her before ALS took over. My wife always spoke very highly of her too.
