P-3 Powerplant blowing Componet fuses

I have a P-3 Powerplant of which I power my Bhk preamp, Direct stream Dac and Transport. Twice it for some reason blew the fuses on all three components. I plugged the components directly into wall power and no issues. Has anyone else have this happened?

Were all the fuses that blew original or aftermarket?

They were original. The crazy thing is it did while the components were switched off by the front panel switches.

So they were powered on but in standby.

As a coworker of mine used to say “SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT!” (usually followed by “You must have pissed someone off”).

Yes sir.

maybe not my business, but

must ask, purchase new or used?

If used, is it 120volt or Japan version 100 volt. There is a lot of dumping of Japan unit on some brand!

Could be that, or worst it is british 220v?

Someone, lately, send on Ebay, send me a complete unit, but somewhere on the box, it was made in china, and on a technics tt, the voltage was erased, if fact it was a Japan model. There were a lot of heat comming from the TT.

So just asking, is it a real product, or a unit for north america market?
