Hello, I recently purchased a working P300 (240V) with Multiwave, but unfortunately it died in a short time before fully appreciating the benefit to my audio system. So I decided to devote some spare time to repairing it. All components needed are already in the Mouser cart, but I wonder if the schematic is available. Any reply is appreciated.
@jamesh can you help?
(TBH I’d like to see it myself for interest too!)
No problem, I just sent the both of you an email with a zip folder containing all of the documentation for the ol’ P300.
Very nice of you James!
Great. Thank you.
Hi, can anybody share a P300 schematic with me - thanks in advance
My P300 died after many years of good working
@jamesh I wonder if you are still sharing the schematic, I’d love to see a copy of it for my P300!
You got it. I just emailed them over.
Wow! So much info! Thank you so much I truly appreciate it!
Hello there!
Like others here, I have a Power Plant P300 (110V) that needs repair.
Serial Number is 00500.
Other than a botched repair by the previous owner, I do not believe this had any “upgrades”.
While I have identified a few bad components, a copy of the service manual (or schematics) would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much in advance!
Hello, I’m also interested in schematic for the P300. The bridge in between the 3300uF caps got shorted on mine. So far it looks like nothing more got damage…
@jamesh could you please share the schematic ?
Thanks in advance ![]()
@Delia Thanks for the schematics. ![]()
Trying it again… ![]()

@Citrofix Upon inspection of the bottom of the main board, it seems that my amp had a similar issue as yours.
However, the extent of the damage is significant.
It seems the previous owner attempted to repair by changing a couple of the large caps, the smaller bridge, and a couple of transistors.
When powering it up using a dim bulb tester, it indicates that there is a short somewhere.
I have repaired PCBs in worse shape than this but when it comes to a device I will plug my AV gear into, I am not willing to take chances. Charred portions of the PCB can lead to even greater damage. Damaged vias are also a pain.
I wonder if PS Audio would have blank/unpopulated boards for sale… or would be willing to share the Gerber files for this board so I can get one made… I know I am asking too much, but one never knows.
Hi. Could it be a short in one of the Darlington transistors?, worth checking with a multimeter. Its pnp on one side and npn on the other, so measure opposite way with multimeter on diode test. Nice video on youtube with “mend it Mark” repairing a P300.
Changed the rectifier bridge with a similar one (from RS Components), works fine again now, did not blow the 5A fuse I put in. Will buy the specified 3A fuse today. Before I repaired it, there was a 15A fuse…
Yes, I checked not only the transistors but also everyting else.
Given the board damage, it may be something else.
Yes, the “mend it Mark” video on the P300 repair is what drove me to buy this one.
Unfortunatey, the damage I found is worse than expected.
@jamesh Is it possible to buy a blank/unpopulated P300 PCB from PS Audio?
If not, is it possible to get the gerber files so I can get one made?
Thanks!
If you have a minute I would love to see it too. I have replaced most of the capacitors on that board but can’t find the parts to a couple others. Thanks in advance.
No problem. Just sent the zip folders that have all of the documentation.
@jamesh i having same problem on my P300 , appreciate would your side provide me schematic diagram.Tks
