I have 2 P12ās in my house, one is making a 3 second elecrical hum noise every 60 seconds or so, even when i turn off the outlets and the main power is on. I tried turning the main power off for a while, but always comes back. Any idea what the problem could be. There is no other issues with the fan or anything else.
My advice, shut it down, contact PS Audio Technical Service on Monday and walk them through your experience with it. It could be as simple as a loose toroidal transformer, or it could be a circuit card out of tolerance. Not knowing what it is and that it is misbehaving Iād set it aside until reassured it is not a significant issue. A hard failure could take out downstream components depending on the nature of the failure.
