I wonder if we are related?
Rudolf_Appel/Michael Denmark meet in Denmark
Due to US entry ban still active we decided to divert our travel plans to Denmark. We found a last minute camping slot in Silkeborg. That happens to be the home town of Buchardt Audio.
Mads Buchardt was there personally and demonstrated and explained the technology behind all Buchardt speakers. We had a chance to listen to the S400 and A500 with different master tunes. Magnificent pieces, such a great sound out of so small boxes. The Buchardt stands finish the Danish design off.

I wonder, is it climate change? Pollution ? Pesticides?
Ding! Ding! Ding!
All of the above.
Rachel Carson wrote about pesticides around 1960 in her book Silent Spring . She was a bell-weather for other stuff, too.
This isn’t a forum to express political opinions and I apologize if I’ve broken the rules. Some of us from the 60s, though, continue to hang on.

Habitat loss is a huge factor for butterfly species that migrate, e.g., Monarchs.
Another reason. Sigh. Thanks for pointing it out – I hadn’t considered that.
In west Texas, storm chaser Laura Rowe captured the picture of a lifetime on May 17, 2021 with this fantastic shot of a mature supercell thunderstorm, illuminated at varying heights from the setting sun.
I know that well. Our country is so small that those fronts do not occur here lol.
I have experienced very bad weather and have sailed 10 days in 54 second meters. There were several waves that were over 25 meters.
