Just an unbelievably gorgeous day to walk the park, along with 50,00 other people who thought the same way.

Don’t see much smoke? Fires out finally?

We had one in Berlin CT right down the street from where I work. We sent our drone inspection team down to help.

Funny that you should mention it.
For two weeks, the smoke would waft down these parts depending upon the winds and the size of the blazes. So much so that I would keep my windows shut tight at times due to the amount smoke. Yesterday, without even realizing until you made mention of it, no smoke or odor. I suppose that’s why it was so enjoyable.

I was curious about what type of mushrooms you had photographed.
I found an interesting bit about the types of edible tree shrooms that might explain them. Yours seem to be one of them.

To be precise these are oyster mushrooms ( Pleurotus ostreatus). They are an excellent edible mushroom. An easy mushroom for beginners.
