That’s not been an issue for me, but all I use is UPnP and sometimes Qobuz via the JPlay app, and Qobuz Connect. I haven’t felt the need to b*tch about my 512 for a few weeks.
The only physical input I use is a coaxial cable from my (ancient) Theta Digital Pearl CD transport, but I’ve not spun a CD in some years so my 512 is just parked on Streamer and fed via Wi-Fi.
My 512 has lost its mind a couple of times, though, but it’s really infrequent and the only thing I have to remember to do is to reassign the Qobuz app to something other than the 512 before streaming with UPnP. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of my routine that doesn’t uproot the bugs you’ve been seeing. I hope, hope, hope PS Audio will soon give all of us a frictionless experience with this great DAC.
