The same goes with Tidal Connect. I learnt that you need to disconnect PMG Streamer from Tidal app before you can use Qobuz Connect.
However, JPLAY uPNP app works well for as a single controller for both Tidal and Qobuz; sounds better too.
In the last couple of weeks I have had a couple of times with Roon where the PMG 512 Streamer disappears. I used the touch screen to turn the streamer Off, then back on. Then the Streamer was available in Roon again. That’s easier than using the rear power switch. Perhaps this would work for Qobuz as well.
My Qobuz Connect simply fails to see the PMG DAC, it connected for a time, but dropped it a month or so ago and hasn’t seen it since…. not sure where the ussue lies, but given the continued PMG DAC issues I am experiencing, I am apt to call it PSA issue…. PMG DAC sounds amazing for sure, but lots of unremedied issues remain
That’s not been an issue for me, but all I use is UPnP and sometimes Qobuz via the JPlay app, and Qobuz Connect. I haven’t felt the need to b*tch about my 512 for a few weeks.
The only physical input I use is a coaxial cable from my (ancient) Theta Digital Pearl CD transport, but I’ve not spun a CD in some years so my 512 is just parked on Streamer and fed via Wi-Fi.
My 512 has lost its mind a couple of times, though, but it’s really infrequent and the only thing I have to remember to do is to reassign the Qobuz app to something other than the 512 before streaming with UPnP. Perhaps it’s the simplicity of my routine that doesn’t uproot the bugs you’ve been seeing. I hope, hope, hope PS Audio will soon give all of us a frictionless experience with this great DAC.

FedEx has not changed their schedule, and PMG 512 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Even though I know how it sounds and this is the 2nd one, I am still excited about it.
I told my wife do not go anywhere in the morning since I will be on the golf course. 
I got my big-sound SACDs ready for break-in duty all day tomorrow.
The PMG DAC 512 is turning one year old this April. Let’s hope that the DAC gets a trouble-free upgrade for its birthday!
The new PMG 512 arrived one hour ago. The setup was straight forward since I already did it once.
The WIFI setup was smooth too, and Roon found the device right the way. When I first played an album. There was a “Failed to Open Device” message, but I reboot it and was able to play music without issue. So far this unit is problem free. I will switch to discs soon.
Someone in another thread was questioning SQ difference on break-in, and without question anyone can hear clearly the SQ difference from this brand new unit to my old one. Even though I returned it already, there is no need for a side-by-side comparison because the SQ was too obvious.
500 more hours to go to hear what I was used to hearing.

After only a few hours, this PMG 512 sounded great already. The break in is much faster than my original one so PSA probably did some testing and break in before they sent the new one to me. I am happy with that!
I already reboot it once to change power cord (sold Dragon), and PMG streamer showed up soon after. This tells me that my original unit did have problem; it always took a few hours to find the streamer. Also my network is working fine and fast. 
am still wondering when/if it will function at 100% in terms of displays, finding inputs when switching etc. - been quite a few months…

I have not played all winter do to snow and cold. I hate New England, hope your are enjoying your new PMG 512.
Nice song, and I will use it to break-in PMG 512 later. It made me want to hit a few balls later.
Not try to make you more sad, but we played 18 early morning yesterday, before the temp. reached 90F. Yup, we have a one week heat wave this week and everyone complained. Not me, I like golfing in warm days

I’m not a big believer in extensive break-in requirements, with vacuum tubes and maybe power-supply capacitors changing their values a bit over time. I know others disagree and cite vastly improved sonics after hundreds of hours, but I’m pretty sure my aural memory isn’t that good. From day to day, depending on my mood I guess, my listening session varies from meh to glorious. I don’t think equipment break-in has anything to do with it.
My 512 sounded excellent from the first note. Even if there is a break-in period that improves, rather than simply changes, the sound, I strongly suggest not waiting for it and just enjoying your DAC. There’s no reason to postpone your listening pleasure.

You should hear obvious improvement after 72 hours, and after that it is a slower improvement for a week or so. However, my original unit had some issues and had to return to PSA after one month, and during that time I had FW updates and other minor changes in the system so I did not pay much attention on break in.
My 2nd unit seems to require less break in, but still there was obvious improvement after three days. It probably had some playing time before they shipped to ensure there was no issue, and I did not think I have heard much difference after three days. Then my new power cord arrived.
I believe PMG line requires less break in time because my PMG SACD took no more than a week of break in as I remembered.

I started listening after ~45 hours of burn-in, and currently at the ~70 hour mark. Supremacy over the DS-MK2 & AirLens was audible, quite immediately. Additionally, I can certainly hear an improvement with time, on various ‘clinical’ dimensions, but more importantly very much to my subjective liking. Having said that, I am still missing a degree of airiness and openness, and suspect it might further emerge within the next few days.

I had left my PMG 512 on 24/7 with internet radio streaming into it all the while to clock the 200-300 hours of breakin.
During breakin i would fiddle with Filter and DSD sampling rate to get the correct sound. After breakin all that is sorted out and now the sound is correct at F1 and DSD 512 sampling,
This is the way.
