While waiting (impatiently) for my DS, I thought I should look into power cords to use with it. What are you lucky folks who have your DS using, and are you happy? I am happy to hear about any experiences, although I hope to avoid spending a lot (since I just paid for the DS). Thanks!
magister, my first recommendation would be to keep the stock cord in place during burn in. If you feel afterward like you’d want to try something else, you can get good deals on the PS Audio AC-12 on Audiogon if you wanted to get a cord that was probably used during the development of the DS. After that it gets harder to make a recommendation. Right now I’m using a Shunyata Zitron Cobra to good effect.
I agree with Tony. I’m using the same PSA AC-12 that I used with the PWD. Works great but I have not tried other power cords with it.
Thanks to Steve and Tony. Several years ago I tried a PS power cord (not an AC-12, probably something like an AC-3, whatever lower-end model was in production then). It was very stiff and hard to position. Is that true of the current AC-12? Space behind my audio rack is tight so stiff cords can be a problem.

Too many variables at once.
I use Shunyata King Cobra CX cords throughout. The new ZiTron line is excellent too znd one cord specific to digital devices. I’m also using Anaconda ZiTron XLR and speaker cables throughout.
I know of one friend who likes the Synergistic Research cables with his PSA equipment.
The Shunyata zitron alpha-digital PCs are working nicely for me. I think this particular cable has most effect on the DAC, and a period of time, did improve over the zitron cobra, which is now on preamp duties.
I am still dumbfounded that power cords can make a significant difference. Enough difference that even I can hear it sometimes… This even after I have become a convert to high end fuses. 
That at least makes some sense to me as all of the power to your equipment is being filtered through one tiny piece of wire.
Still I read these threads with curiosity, trying to figure out what about power cords could have a significant effect on our equipment. .?.

Aren’t those the guys with the little magic cupcakes? Several of my friends and I got the sample set from them, and we really see zero difference in anything with/without them. I’m skeptical of a power cord from them being any better than any DIY I could do for myself.
Also, those of you getting AC12 - be careful of the counterfeits going around. There was a thread around here about the Chinese copies that look amazingly perfect, but when opened up, turned out to be wimpy on the insides.
Lonely Raven, I agree the free samples were not much.
But the NEO Power cords are really something special. It replaced my treasured HiDiamond P4 power cord.
I did a personal review of it on Audiogon.
Currently using an AudioQuest NRG1000… It replaced a Shunyata Black Mamba CX HC which sounded a bit grainy in comparison

I shopped for bargains but still spent a lot of coin. . .but I will use them for life.
