What’s the difference between Power Port and Power Port Premier?

The premier made everything and I mean everything plugged into it sound overly bright . So, bright I felt it wash away a lot of detail in the music .
I suspect Ps Audio must have felt this too , cause good luck finding those premier anywhere , which is surprising considered they were more expensive then the classic .
P.s. A friend of mine still use the Premier in his system after trying a few other " high end’ outlets .
