Hello All, I am trying to upgrade my outlets and see the PS Audio Power Ports are out of stock with no notes of when they will return. The Shunyata Cables I am using are not happy with my stock outlets so I wanna upgrade and flip them (have dual dedicated a two gang and no “cable Cups” are available for this). @Paul any updates from the PSA end?
Was wondering the same thing, then went down an online rabbit hole of point-counter point takes from various random places…and then I started wondering: if I use a PSA Power Regenerator (P10), would I even need to upgrade my wall socket? Anyone know the legit answer?
If the only thing plugged into my wall socket regenerates all the power feeding my system, what benefit would the Hifi socket give? (Am already using hospital grade to hold the heavy power cord in place.)
Cutlr7 the power ports are modified versions of the Hubbell 8300 receptacle. These are heavy duty ‘hospital grade’ outlets that grip like crazy. If you you’re having trouble with cable sag upgrading to the Hubbell 8300, 8200 (the 15a version) or the Hubbell 5362, 5262 will be a great improvement over what is currently in your wall.
Installing your new receptacles ground up, or what would look upside down might also help fight some of the sag.
If your hearts set on a power port I would check out USAM or eBay, they pop up regularly and are usually a great deal.

This thing may help
It’s a single, I need a double…I ended up finding a quad “cup” unit from Sonore.
I have amps going directly into wall (so two bigguns), also have the big plugs from my Niagara 5000 and the Everest 8000 so I am good!
I wanted the power ports so they grip better and I will flip them upside down, that was the plan…
