1st time posting. I have a pair of Statement cables with broken banana screw in connectors. How did they break? I won’t mention names (kids) but I am looking for 4 replacements. The screw in spade connectors would work as well.
I contacted PS and they no longer have these parts. I have looked high and low on the internet with zero results.
Hoping someone might have spare connectors or know of a good source to purchase these.
You might want to find out the thread size for the screw in connectors from PSA and then check with Wireworld and see if theirs will fit. Also Wywires and several other companies use a similar type.
Thanks. I’ve seen those and so many other products like those. If I can’t find the connectors that thread right on, I will go with something like the Monoprice, Nakamichi etc.
Most screw on speaker connections are problematic designs and will probably not stay tight over time. Even with a liberal dose of the blue or red Loctite! They do a little better with the larger AWG conductors (10/12 AWG) than the smaller gauge. A properly done solder or crimp is a better option.
Excellent! I would sure like to get those screw on spades from you. I don’t know if this is a direct message. I just recently joined and don’t know all the ins and outs of this forum.
