PS Audio xStream Statement Speaker Cables - Banana Plug Replacements

Hey there, I recently got my hands on a pair of these speaker cables and the banana plugs on them are in rather bad shape.
I’ve tried looking for some kind of replacements but can’t seem to come up with anything.
They’re internally threaded, screw-on type tips.
Here’s an image of em close up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Audioquest suregrip 300 should work for you. Not the best but only$50 for set of 4

Thanks for the suggestion!
I’m not sure those would work in this scenario but I’m not sure.
Here are some more detailed pics.

Buy this contact enhancer. Mil spec and does wonders. It will improve the sound.

The banana plugs look fine to me.

In the past PS Audio could supply replacements but I recall they have long run out of them.

My suspicion is you will need to re-terminate the cables if you do not like the bananas.

I didn’t take a picture of all the plugs but some were really bending and the leaf springs were detaching.
That’s really unfortunate; I’m not very DIY and seems like there’s no similar attaching plug out there right now, at least from what I can find.

I used to have a set of those cables… Do you have the screw-on spade connectors that they came with from the factory? If so, you could get some of the spade-to-banana adaptors… I think monoprice sells a few different types, and they’re cheap.

Thanks I’ll see if I can find some and give them a try.

If your in the US try contacting Patrick at Cullen Cables as he advertises that he does re-termination and repair. Good guy with fair prices on his cables.

If it’s just the banana end that is threaded on the inside, we would be able to supply you with some. Feel free to shoot me an email and we can get the ball rolling. jamesh@psaudio.com

Blue Jean Cables has both locking and balloon bananas. On the speaker cable page.
