I am considering getting a PST and I wonder if any PST owners have tried connecting it to a Chord Hugo MScaler Dual BNC inputs. I want to verify if the devices are compatible to use double-rate DoP.

It has been a few months since the PST release, I am still curious to know if nobody has connected it to to a Chord MScaler and can share their experience.
For whatever reason, there isn’t a lot of crossover between the PS Audio transport / Chord DAC communities.
Sorry, I never tried it when I was borrowing a TT2. I did run redbook through a single BNC with no issue – it sounds great.
However, I’m certain you would not get the encrypted SACD layer out of those dual BNCs (that is HDMI only). The only use case I can think of, then, for dual BNC is playing high res (DSD 128, or > 24/192) files. If that is your use case, I would just mention that (as far as I can tell at the moment) gapless playback is not supported, except perhaps for commercially burned DVD-Audio discs (I don’t have any, and I don’t think any are available at those resolutions anyway.)
