Fortunately this is untrue. There are many wonderful artists who are also delightful people.

I forgot about that Elk. Yes, and I try to see them in Concert whenever possible.

Funny. People that actually new the guy and worked with him don’t hold him in as much contempt as someone here that never even met the guy…
I suggest reading a bit more. You may well come to a vastly different conclusion.

The Eric Clapton tribute/charity show is new information. I thought it was worth mentioning, and this seemed like the most appropriate thread in which to do so.
As far as the earlier debate about whether Ginger Baker is beyond redemption, yes, I agree, we do not need to “go there” again.

I was not attempting to goad you; I thought you would find the suggestion that you might attend a Ginger Baker tribute show humorous (I did, as did @speed-racer).
To avoid more back-and-forth, let’s stipulate that you do not want any tickets to the tribute show, that Ginger could be and often was an abusive jerk, and that hopefully Ginger is not beyond redemption.
And it will probably be a good show.
