I saw this at AXPONA. Technically clever, but IMO too much complication.
I have the Reed 3P. The recent high level of publicity is due Reed changing their distribution. This has also resulted in significant price increases. In the UK they were being used on Dohman Audio turntables from the same distributor. A Reed-Dohman-Lyra setup comes in at around $100,000.
Incidentally, the 3P, which is the sweet spot in the range, is wonderfully engineered and makes micro-adjustments on the fly incredibly easy.
Another great thing is that you can buy additional cartridge mounting plates for about $35 each and never have remount a cartridge. Once aligned on the plate, you can change the cartridge in minutes.
Then you just gotta get the storage box, right?
Not even tempted … !
