Rips and purchases. I use an Oppo 103 to do the SACD rips.

I might have to pick up an OPPO. Now that Octave Records (PS Audio) is no longer providing .dsf/data discs with SACD purchases, I need a solution for ripping new SACD purchases from them (and I might as well go back and “capture” the dozen or so SACDs I have from other labels).

A bit tricky to get going the first time, but works well once you have all setup

Ran a few errands in the minnesota blizzard to get last-minute christmas gifts for my kids, and of course I had to stop at a record store that I hadn’t been to in a few years.
Found some classics to add to the CD collection, but the cool discovery was unrelated to that… the Andrew Bird release on qobuz. Really cool album. Nicely recorded, too. Amazing talent.
