Ed, you and I are already in good email correspondence, so I’d like to keep it there in order to not cause more confusion here.
jamesh,
…sorry…
Ed
No need to apologize at all. Just helps me to keep things consolidated.
jamesh,
I get confused when I receive emails that, apparently, are meant for the forum discussion. I thought my responses were solely to the person sending it to me.
I’ll pay more attention to what I’m receiving and from whom as it pertains to the forum or not.
Ed
jamesh,
Now,…you see…my response appears on the forum!! Sorry, again. I thought I was just responding to you personallly.
ED
Just watch the “To” field as you send your emails to check to whom the emails are going; i.e., to James or to the forum.
Elk,
O.K., thanks
Ed
Has there been any resolution?
Our tech team has his original amps and they’re having a really hard time replicating the light staying on. With trigger, without trigger, standby button, rear switch, and all other combinations. They can’t come to any firm results, but we aren’t putting it to rest yet.
jamesh,
I appreciate their hard work. Believe me, I wasn’t making it up! But, if it turns out that there is nothing wrong with the units, I’m sorry that I’ve put you through so much trouble. I really did have the happenings that occurred that made me feel that they had to be replaced and Kevin was very helpful in discussing the issues that did result in their return.
Thank you very much for the update,
Ed
mp5310,
The resolution is that I now have all six amps working and have not seen any problems. I have great trust in PS Audio and if anything should occur in the future, I’m certain that they will did with it.
Thanks for your concern.
Thanks Ed, glad everything has been working! Yes, we are always there when or if things go awry. Our service and personal touch is of the most importance.
jamesh,
Yesterday, after going a little crazy with the “trigger” cables and getting them to finally work, I was indeed very happy to just sit and listen/watch! I have 3 Magnepans for the L/R/C fronts and the Sunfire sides and one rear and they demand power! The clarity of sound is wonderful and there is no congestion when the sound tracks/CDs get a bit hectic.
So, again, thank you for your concern and help.
Ed
What a great system! If I could only get the accountant to agree…
mp5310,
Thanks. It’s been a revolving door over the years to upgrade and upgrade. It’s a smallish home theater with 6.0 speakers, a JVC Reference 2000 4K projector, and a Carada (out of business) screen in 2:38:1 ratio with movable sides for other ratio programing via a remote. With all this talk of DVDs fading away and satellite service taking over, I am not happy. I want the physical disc in my hands and the casing with film notes included. But, will be will be.
Thanks again for responding,
Ed
