Schnerzinger Grid Protector EMI Allocator and other things

Interesting finding. Though what I always suggest is after changing something in a setup, it takes about 24-48h till things settle again and perform as previously. So that might be something to consider.

Yes, I’m aware of making system changes and letting things settle down again. Max Townshend always recommended 24 hours to allow things to settle.
I believe I removed the footers from the Schnerzinger products at least a couple of days ago so the system had time to settle.
I really noticed the loss of authority with the music system, the same sound was still there, it just wasn’t as commanding, in control and relaxing as it was with the footers under the Schnerzinger products.

I’m receiving my replacement Stack Audio footers later today and I believe it takes about two hours for them to settle in so I should be in a good position tonight and over the weekend to see it the system returns to it’s former glory.

Totally agree

I received my footers late in the day and got them installed under the Schnerzinger components.
I believe around two hours for break in for the footers to settle in.
I listened to music late last night for around a hour and the authority, control, ease of listening, all returned.
It’ll be even better over the weekend.
I strongly urge all Schnerzinger owners to investigate adding these Stack Audio footers under their components.
If you don’t you are not getting the best out of your expensive components.
(I don’t understand how giving them the extra support and isolation improves their performance as they are working on the mains electricity, but it does.)

What setup of the Stack Audio footers did you use under the Schnerzinger components? 3 or 4?

3 under the EMI and 4 under the Grid.
That’s what I had available each time I received a Schnerzinger item.

I may complete and update to 4 under EMI just to finish it.

I didn’t really know what the footers did for the Schnerzinger kit until I had to borrow them to use elsewhere.
They really make a big difference, I was very surprised at their impact, which you only appreciate when they are gone.

Time to revive this thread.

A few of these new sockets just landed here, ready to be mounted in my new room (house) hopefully within December - fingers crossed!

Great to see you back in action!

Thanks. I’ll be frying for a few more weeks…

This looks like an Overkill socket.

I got them too! Mine are following the top model of Furutech.

Has someone already tried the new Reflectors - in addition to Grid or EMI protectors?

I’ve read about them on WTB forum but have no direct experience (no plan to try them at least in the very next months).

I do believe that the Gaia Titan Rea are the correct size for the washing machine. Heck, what’s another $1K?

Extremely expensive, UK prices £11K+ for 2, £19K+ for 4.

Does that outlet come with a servant to keep it pretty?

Al… my friend… I was missing your spicy humor! To answer your question: yes, that’s the reason why I chose them! But it happens just once a week and I wasn’t lucky to be at home that day yet.
