I recently bought a DSD and a Power Base. I placed the DSD on top of the Power Base as is - no aftermarket footers between the DSD and the Power Base, such as Herbie’s Audio Lab Tenderfeet. I have noticed in many photos on-line from private systems to audio shows that various footers appear to be used between the component and the Power Base.
While a lot of this is personal preference, I am looking for some comments/input/perspectives.
BTW, the DSD is incredible alone and placing it on the Power Base definitely took an outstanding DAC up a notch in reducing the noise floor, better defining the sound stage and dialing in the timber. A necessary product…
