A thread entitled Show Us Your Rack is an invitation to shenanigans. Actually, I’m amazed at the restraint that’s been shown.
Agreed.
I found the thread title sufficient.
And outlets with cover plates. Lol
If this were a British forum (the land that gave us all the Carry On films), there would have been significant shenanigans from day 1, probably leading to a piece in the Sunday Sport.
…oh and the thread would have been renamed “Racky McRackface” within hours ![]()
Yeah, but Elky McElkface would have kept things sanitized and wholesome. ![]()
Nice perky tips.
Sorry for the late response. Its a bar top epoxy not sure what brand as i had it done, its a double coating, I almost think triple coat would be nice but meh… also it had milled groves on back side for C Channels to help prevent humidity flex of the wood over time. Then it was coated in a polyurethane clear to seal the back side. Not thick an shiny its just a seal…
Call a shop n ask what brand they use and info so you get a perfect idea what you need.
And tha ks for the response ![]()

Lmao right!? Def a downer. Gotta clean that up!
Great. Thx. My piece of oak was once a table. It came with my wife when we were married 37 years ago. It has 1/2” flat stock bolted to the bottom to keep it flat. I’ll be tackling the finishing myself. Retirement is fun.
Yea id do the same if I had the time, but i would have rushed an i didnt want to so I had it done, im sure you’ll do great!
I like letting the pros do their thing too. I’m giving it a go just to say I did it. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Very cool ![]()
my new Rack for now, and the most Breaking experience I ever had with this little fuzzy!
1200 CD in three carousel a simple Denon streamer for internet radio and NAS playing (40000 songs)
With the best phono preamp I ever had: Stellar ps audio
Stellar gain Dac analogue preamp
I put the fuzzy wire waiting for my 300 B
And surprise sound is amazing after a year of listening the breaking happen after 3500 hour!
strange, but fuzzy take a long ling Breaking
It is my power surge amplifier but now it’s sit there for almost a year, Playing all day long!
ps The heart are for my sweetheart, To push the right button for music!
except for the phono, Everything is manageable without a remote that is a plus for me
If I could find a phono Manager ball without a remote, That sounds amazing as the Stellar are, I would replace it
Nice, simple clean lines.
