I used LRS with a Pass Labs XA25. It was wonderful.
Then I hooked up an X250.8 and they were even more wonderful.
I sold the whole system to a friend and it still sounds amazing every time I hear it.

On an earlier note, many of you have described the benefits of raising Magnapans. They do sound better off the floor, but some market options can raise the ear above the middle of the Mylar. The sweet spot for me.
FWIW, I made a stand that raises the pans about 3” off the floor and includes spikes and speaker rail fasteners.
They are not pretty but I think they couple to the floor better and reduce stand wobble. Photo attached for reverse engineering.

Correction…some Magnapan stands raise the center of the drivers aboveear level.
