Well, BHK and Paul have a very similar (maybe even identical except for the speakers) setup to what you have and think the preamp makes a big difference. Then you have the temerity to tell me it has something to do with my “specific amplifier”. Maybe you are the one that isn’t hearing the difference. Maybe it is your speakers or your room…
I correct my previous post it isn’t your amplifier it is your Attitude! It is too bad that your system requires a preamp to force the soundstage. Something my system does not require!
That’s the way. If you can’t support your position on merit go to insults. I guess you are trolling again…
BHK Preamp and XLR are the way to go IMO, much better than RCA to amplifier.
XLR is the way to go with or without the preamp.
Come on over, you can listen for yourself. I assume you’ll bring the beer.
Thanks for the invitation but I only care about how my system sounds.
BTW you threw the first insult!
So this is apparently what “Snowmass Voices” sound like, hmmm… ; )
Whatever you say, John…
If you feel that way why do you visit a public forum? What is in it for us?
I visit the forum to share ideas. I have helped many on the forum. I am happy with my system and that is what is important to me. I have a huge soundstage that far exceeds the width of my listening room unlike some other forum members who sing the praises of adding a preamp to their system and than state that their soundstage is no wider than their speaker placement.
… not the old and tired preamp debate again.
No debate here!
Depends… maybe they changed SPEAKER CABLES… let’s see ;))
LMAO…
Follow the thread up to see who tried to start this debate up again. Hint it wasn’t me. I just answered the original posters question. Thank you.
Let’s be nice everyone. It is only audio, a hobby for most of its.
There is plenty of room for different views and experiences.
Good morning america etc.
Good morning america etc - is there war here?
That’s the reason why -
Because I’ve had a bad voice experience of the update is because I made two human errors during the update. Thanks for all the good advice etc … I keep all my cables and I keep all my apples out into the garden. I’m not in any war … As I said I learned to love my PS audio equipment with the faults and defects it has and all the good sites it has or I don’t buy it. I also have other buying motives - since I have had equipment from these people since the 70’s.
I thought, keeping all cables as short as possible was the way to go, but that concept may just be so outdated. Nordost will love us, when we order their Odins in 50 meter lengths… Just kidding, no offense.
lol jaja mit engelsk er ikke så godt…
