I’ve never given a thought to backing up the SD card. Makes sense to use an ID as part of the process. Once the server issue has been resolved I’ll implement a BU scheme. The local display of cover art etc… is the extent of my usage of the service so no biggie. Thanks for the details, John.
When I tested today, it looks like the cover art server issue is corrected. Please pay attention when loading a disk that you know you have cover art for to see that it does come up ok. Should you again see it and track info missing be sure to disconnect your network to prevent loss of items stored on your SD card. Thank you to those responsible for the network at PS Audio for fixing the issue.
Our team migrated this function to a different server fairly recently. Interesting that the trouble just popped up though. I’ve informed them and it is now on their roadmap of website server maintenance to look at.
James,
When I tested it today it is working!
It seems to work again in The Netherlands as well
Our guys got back to me with an update saying that it should be working now but no guarantees it won’t happen again. It’ll be something they keep their eyes on though.
Thx Jamesh, for now we are ok!
My data has returned too. Thanks James for getting the issue resolved, sixpack1 for championing the effort.
The Cover Art server is not working! At least this time it is not removing titles from the SD card. I wish this would get fixed as I have new disks that I do not get Cover Art or Track list information on.
I also suffer from the same problem and can hardly wait for it to get fixed. I bought my PWT not so long ago and didn’t get a chance to fill the SD card. There’s only a few titles on it.
