You’re missing the point: nothing changes more frequently than the landscape of streaming services. This is not a DAC alone anymore, it’s including a streamer. Therefore updates are critical

Totally agree with this one my Auralic g2.2 had 8 Firmware updates in 2024
Also sad about Ted really have enjoyed the Mrk1 and Mrk2 journey and the support he gave to the forum along the way..

Need more information about the imbedded streaming capability and how any associated software or hardware could be updated…

The new products looks great but I do share some frustration about the end of the DS MKII as I just purchased one last week. I wish PSA would’ve at least hinted that I might want to wait a few days.
