Strictly Jazz Sounds (Part 1)

This is the ‘expanded’ version of Nefertiti with some alternate tracks, 88.2 stream from Tidal. Sounds really good. I think I have a nice ‘mini-lp’ version of the original album, I should dig it out and see if it sounds as good.

There are many nice versions out there! Hard to mess up such amazing music.

Coryell in the day at his peak IMO. Saw Larry in various combinations and solo in the 70’s. I gotta believe this is one fun set from Eleventh House, Solo and Trio. Thanks for pointing it out.

I totally line-up with that sentiment. Chick’s early 70’s work be it solo, with Return to Forever, or his Circle/Circulus series is some of my favorites. Still have them all on vinyl and in fine shape (NM). The one above as well.

Viewing this at the moment which fits in with the 70’s Chick Corea/Larry Coryell theme to a degree.

Spinning the 2012 AP SACD. Sounds great through the PST.

That’s a great one too.

Here is the date/venue info. I am tempted by the $7 price for the 3-CD FLAC download!

Two cd set of well-chosen material from this period. Not great sounding source recordings but great music. This DALAUDIO amp is really sounding interesting.
