ICP 006, Instant Composers Pool, Groupcomposing. After a day of some rather "trad’ jazz it is now time to segue into chaos. Amsterdam label ICP founded in 1967 by Willem Breuker, Misha Mengelberg, and Han Bennink offers this 1970 recording featuring Peter Bennink, Han Bennink, Misha Mengelberg, Evan Parker, Paul Rutherford, and Peter Brotzmann, and Derek Bailey. Rather dense and raucous free improvisation from the Netherlands. Fans of Eric Dolphy’s Last Date may recall two players, Misha and Han, from that performance on this as well. The music and its forms have roots in the Fluxus Art Movement of the '60, of which Misha was an early participant.

Herminia “Do Sol” Celluloid cd

Wow. Re-visiting this one. This Cape Verdean singer/songwriter was awesome.

Not jazz really. But has the spirit.
