The two main jazz artists Hunnia seems to record with some frequency are Gábor Csordás and Gabor Varga. I’m gravitating to listening more to Varga and find I’m enjoying his sense of cool jazz a bit more (and I’ve never otherwise cared much for “cool” jazz, so go figure). But both are very creative artists and excellent performers.

Awesome album. My copy is the JVC XRCD version. I need to check out what HDTT has.
Yes, I have the XRCD as well. The differences are what you’d expect. The XRCD sounding better than any other CD release, very clean, very open, pretty up front, and just a little bit aggressive in the top. The HDTT more relaxed, greater timbral density, more air/space around the instruments, more analog-like.
Later: Oh, and the HDTT does not include the bonus tracks 5 and 6 found on the XRCD: “Royal Flush” and “Lover”.
